Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishan, who plays a negative role in forthcoming movie "Issaq", sports a thick and long handlebar moustache in the movie. He says whether his role becomes popular or not, his moustache will have its own fan following post the movie's release.
"The credit goes to director Manish Tiwary. He wanted my moustache to touch my ears and there was a lot of debate also on this. But he was adamant that the moustache has to be like this," the 41-year-old said here Tuesday at the first look launch of "Issaq".
"It was his (the director's) thought and after this film, I don't know about myself, but my moustache will become very popular," quipped Ravi.
"Issaq" is a modern day adaptation of William Shakespeare's popular play "Romeo & Juliet". Set in Benaras, the movie features actor Prateik and newcomer Amyra Dastur in the lead. It releases July 26.
