Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal, seeded fourth, crashed out of the Shanghai Masters going down 3-6, 6-7(3-7) to Serbia's Viktor Troicki in the second round here on Wednesday.

Nadal, who was eliminated last week from the China Open quarter-finals by Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov, yet again displayed a poor performance to go down to the World No.31 in one hour and 34 minutes.

Troicki will next face the winner between Spain's Roberto Bautista and American Taylor Fritz.
