Kolkata golfer Neha Tripathi, who won three consecutive legs at the Hero Women's Professional Golf Tour this year, will be leading the field for the eighth leg.
The Rs.5 lakh event will be played at the Karnataka Golf Association course from Aug 20-23. However, local golfer Sharmila Nicollet will play in the tourney as she is recuperating from an ankle injury.
Neha, with her wins, has emerged as the leader of the Order of Merit for the first time in three years with earnings of Rs.6.6 lakh. Veteran Delhi golfer Smriti Mehra and Vani Kapoor follow Neha in the list, trailing by Rs.1.75 lakh.
The eighth leg field will consist 15 golfers.
The tour comprises 14 legs spanning across key locations in India.
