Home automation systems provider Nest will add a software update this winter that will enable the Google Assistant in its indoor security camera 'Nest Cam IQ'.
The Google Assistant will bring several new features to the security camera including the ability to ask questions and manage tasks, The Verge reported late on Wednesday.
The update will give the device functionalities of 'Google Home', allowing users to ask queries about weather, traffic and more.
It will also enable users to see live video feed from the 'Nest Cam IQ' on Google Chromecast, the report added.
However, the update does not provide capability to control the device functions like turning it off or music playback using the device's speaker.
