Netherlands train ahead of semifinal

Sao Paulo, July 8 (IANS/EFE) The Dutch football team trained behind closed doors here to prepare for their World Cup semifinal against Argentina Wednesday. Injured players including Ron Vlaar also participated in the session.

Stars like Arjen Robben, Robin van Persie and Wesley Sneijder took part in the training at the Pacaembú resort inside the Pullman de Ibirapuera hotel, reports Efe.

Vlaar, who is suffering from a knee injury, as well as other injured players like Leroy Fer and Nigel de Jong, may not play against Argentina at the Arena de São Paulo.
