Netxcell joins hands with Funmobile in Nigeria

Netxcell Limited, a leading telecom technology services provider, Wednesday announced its association with Funmobile, a leader in the mobile content domain in west Africa.

Through this partnership, Netxcell will implement services for MTN, one of the leading telecom operators in Africa with GSM licenses in 21 countries, across Africa and Middle East leveraging the local know how of Funmobile, said a statement by Netxcell.

Netxcell will provide its cutting edge technology solutions such as IVR based services - voice chat and information and subscription diallers in Nigeria. While Netxcell will be responsible for driving the products from registration phase, profile maintenance, filtration, connectivity (with Funmobile and MTN), usage, promotions, billing, etc, Funmobile, which is a known player in voice sms will start offering voice chat with Netxcell's support and with their local knowhow and expertise handle day-to-day operations.

With the association, Nigeria will be an additional geography in Africa for Netxcell, which presence in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Sudan and Burundi.
