The first full length trailer for "Game of Thrones" season 6 has been released by television network HBO.
Set to an acoustic version of musician Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game", the new footage teases the return and demise of some of the show's leading characters, which includes the famous character Jon Snow, essayed by actor Kit Harington, reports variety.com.
In the trailer, Peter Dinklage who plays the role of Tyrion Lannister says, "You're in the great game now, and the great game is terrifying"; the Boltons are shown to be at war and even the first look at Euron Greyjoy has been revealed.
HBO recently decided not to issue media screeners of "Game of Thrones" to avoid leaked copies online.
The sixth season of the Emmy-winning series, based on the George R.R. Martin novels is set to premiere on April 24.
