American singer-songwriter and record producer Meghan Trainor loves the fact her new boyfriend, Daryl Sabara, understands fame and knows what to expect when they attend red carpet events together.

The "No" hitmaker has been dating her actor beau Daryl Sabara for five months now, and has admitted one of the best things about being in a relationship with another famous person is that he knows to expect a lot of attention when they are out in public together, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Asked who her kindred spirit is, Meghan told Billboard magazine, Trainor said: "My boyfriend knows what it's like to be on a red carpet, to be super hot for a second with everyone talking about you. It's nice to have someone who actually understands."

Meanwhile, the pop beauty says she always knew 2016 would be her year.

"Growing up, I remember I always wanted to be 22. Now I am. I've finished a tour and sold out every show; got a Grammy; I have an amazing new boyfriend. For some reason, I knew this would be my year," she said.
