Nicki Minaj in 'Barbershop 3' first look video

Rapper Ice Cube has shared a behind-the-scenes video for his long awaited movie "Barbershop 3". It is recorded in black and white and give fans a look at the cast on set.

The nearly-two-minute video opens with slideshow of photographs which include president Barack Obama sitting in a barbershop chair, reports aceshowbiz.com.

Other photographs show the location and the condition of the barbershop. It continues with footage where actors and crew members joking and having fun during the filming and also between takes of the scenes.

There are also glimpses of the newly-added cast member singer Nicki Minaj, who stars as the new hairdresser named Draya.

She's seen working on hair extension for a customer.

The upcoming movie comes more than a decade after the second movie, "Barbershop 2: Back in Business".

The rapper and actor Cedric the Entertainer, who starred in the first and second installment of the movie franchise, return to reprise their respective roles.

Malcolm D. Lee directs the movie with the script written by "Black-ish" creator Kenya Barris and Tracy Oliver.

Cube is joined by actors Queen Latifah, Regina Hall, Anthony Anderson, Utkarsh Ambudkar,Deon Cole, musical artist Margot Bingham, and hip-hop artist Common, in the cast.

Cube is also producing "Barbershop 3" alongside Matt Alvarez, Bob Teitel and George Tillman Jr.
