Sports apparel major Nike Thursday extended its jersey sponsorship deal with the All India Football Federation (AIFF) till 2017.
Nike will continue to provide federation team kits across all age groups in India.
"Nike has always provided our players with the best in design and innovation to focus on their performance. We are extremely pleased that Nike will continue as the official apparel sponsor of the Indian football team until 2017, and we truly believe that this partnership will grow from strength to strength," said Kushal Das, general secretary, All India Football Federation (AFF), on the sidelines of the launch of the home and away kits for the national team.
India team captain and striker Sunil Chhetri, and midfielder Lenny Rodrigues, player of the year, were also present at the occasion.
The national team will debut the new kit in the Aug 14 friendly match against Tajikistan.
