Nine die in Tamil Nadu road accident
Nine people were killed on Friday when the vehicle they were travelling in collided with a milk tanker in Tamil Nadu's Dindigul district, said police.
The accident took place around 1.30 a.m. in Dindigul, around 450 km from here.
The vehicle from Kodaikanal with 10 people, while trying to overtake another vehicle, collided with the milk tanker on the Vathalagundu highway.
Nine people died on the spot while one injured person has been admitted to a government hospital.
