Nine killed in twin bombings in Syria

At least nine people were killed in twin bombings that rocked Syria's central province of Homs on Thursday, a military source said.

A car bomb and a booby-trapped motorcycle went off in the eastern countryside of Homs, Xinhua news agency quoted the source as saying.

Emergency crew were working to deal with the aftermath of the bombings, the source added.
