Grand Alliance leader Nitish Kumar will again take oath as Bihar chief minister along with a 35-member council of ministers after the Chhath festival to be celebrated in the third week of November, a JD-U leader said.

"A 36-member cabinet including Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will take oath after the Chhath festival," said a Janata Dal-United leader.

Chhath is the most popular festival in Bihar.

According to leaders of the Grand Alliance, there will be 16 ministers from Lalu Prasad's Rashtriya Janata Dal, 15 from the JD-U and five from the Congress.

The RJD emerged as the single largest party with 80 assembly seats, followed by the JD-U with 71 and the Congress with 27.
