Crystal Palace have endured a poor run of form in recent times, but their manager Alan Pardew believes that in-form Norwich City will find it tough when they visit for a crucial English Premier League (EPL) tie on Saturday.

Crystal Palace have lost their last six home games, which has left them at the 16th place on the 20-team EPL table with 34 points from 31 matches. Norwich City are a spot behind with 31 points and the result of Saturday's game at Selhurst Park could be crucial to both teams' struggle to avoid relegation.

"The fans are up for this game and I think Norwich will find it difficult. It can be very loud and intimidating at Selhurst Park and they will have to try to deal with it," Pardew told the local media here on Thursday.

Norwich, however, have enjoyed a run of good form lately. They are unbeaten in their last three matches, beating Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion while holding formidable Manchester City to a goalless draw.

Pardew admitted that Crystal Palace will have to be at their best in front of their home crowd in order to halt Norwich's unbeaten run.

"It doesn't concern me. But it is more difficult to play a team who've won two games. It could easily have been a loss (last weekend against Newcastle). It was a tight game and I expect this one to be too. I don't see this game as critical, but it is important," he said.

"I haven't needed to say anything to my players, they've said it to me by the way they've trained. You can see a real determination and commitment to the group," Pardew added.
