Leading e-tailer Flipkart on Tuesday announced investing an undisclosed amount as seed capital in Tinystep startup, a parenting social network startup.
"The startup will use the seed fund to develop the product, enhance user experience and strengthen its team, besides increasing its user engagement," the e-commerce player said in a statement here.
Tinystep is building an interactive platform for parents to ask, share and connect with their counterparts on diverse issues such as planning for a baby, being pregnant or what is the best breakfast for a two-year-old, as information and advice from the experienced will be vital for them.
Question and answers forum, individual and group chat, updates on vaccination, growth charts and others are some Tinystep features.
