After RJD chief Lalu Prasad, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday attacked the RSS and BJP over RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's purported demand to review reservation.
"RSS chief's statement to review reservation has exposed the real face of BJP," Nitish Kumar told media here, adding that as the Bharatiya Janata Party is a political front of the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh, the latter's chief's view on reservation is bound to be accepted.
"I urged poor people, backwards, marginalized and the downtrodden, who are getting benefit from the reservation to be on alert... it is high time to identify the forces against reservation," Nitish Kumar said.
He said that political compulsions due to Bihar assembly polls had forced the BJP to distance itself from RSS chief's remark on reservation.
Lalu Prasad on Tuesday reiterated that if RSS and BJP have guts to end reservation, they should do it.
