Nurse murdered in Delhi
A 55-year-old government hospital nurse was found murdered at her flat in the hospital premises Tuesday evening, police said.
Varsha Verma was a nursing in-charge at Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan hospital in central Delhi.
Her body, lying in a pool of blood on the floor, was found by her husband Virendra when came back after work around 6 p.m.
Police said she had died of a head injury. A gold chain was missing.
"A murder case has been registered," said a police officer.
