He also said admission for the IIM-Odisha would take place for around 78 seats, while it was earlier proposed to have an intake capacity of 140 seats.
The team reached Sambalpur on a two-day visit on Saturday, and inspected the proposed permanent and temporary campuses in Sambalpur.
They have expressed their satisfaction over the sites selection.
The state government has identified land in Rengali, Dhankauda and Neeldungri blocks for permanent campus. It has also selected Government Polytechnic, Rengali, Sambalpur University Institute of Information Technology (SUIIT), Burla, and Silicon Institute of Technology, Sason, for temporary campus.
