Cab aggregator Ola on Thursday said it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Rajasthan by which it will work with the state government to encourage entrepreneurship among the youth and provide skill development for 50,000 men and women over the next five years.

"Our vision is to use technology to encourage the spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth of Rajasthan. We welcome Ola's commitment to skill development and nurturing entrepreneurship amongst the youth of the state," Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje said after the MoU was signed.

"This initiative will help further expand the ecosystem and make more choice of mobility to the citizens at large. Innovation and technology have to go hand in hand for making Rajasthan the most developed, front-runner state in the country," she added.

Ola will also work with the government to introduce innovative and customised mobility solutions across the state like Ola Autos and Ola Share in the coming months.
