One of the seven people injured in a shooting incident at a house during a New Year's Eve party in Canada has died while six are in a stable condition, a media report said Friday citing police.
The party, held at a house in Canada's Calgary city, turned violent in the early hours of Thursday when seven people were left wounded after a shooting, Xinhua reported.
Calgary police said dozens of people were at the party when shooting occurred but it was yet to be ascertained what caused it exactly.
At least 15 witnesses are being questioned over the incident, police said, but adding that they did not get a great deal of cooperation or information from the witnesses.
The shooter is on the run.
