British boy band One Direction, who will be taking an extended hiatus in a few months, got emotional during their last show in front of their US fans.
Formed in 2010, the group, which comprises Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, performed at the Staples Center here on Friday, reports aceshowbiz.com.
"To be honest with you, this show is kind of an important one for us," Payne told the crowd while performing onstage.
"This is going to be the last time we'll be performing together in America for a little while. I feel myself getting a little emotional," he added.
The band kicked off their set with their single "Perfect" and also belted out their new hits like "Drag me down" and "Infinity".
Before ending the show, they said to the crowd: "We'll be back very soon."
