English-Irish pop boy band One Direction will reportedly take a break from its music career.

Aceshowbiz.com reports that according to The Sun newspaper, the members will take a three-month break and will be back at work in mid-March to begin tour rehearsals.

The news has not been confirmed by their manager, but a source said: "The lads are dead on their feet. They've completed a huge World tour and done endless promos in between."

"They approached the management to work out a deal. Given their success, they could hardly disagree and understood entirely. It was all sorted on good terms," the source added.
