A 32-year-old man has been arrested with 300 gm of heroin valued at Rs. 80 lakh in the international market, police said Friday.
Mohammad Arif was arrested Wednesday near Vijay Ghat in central Delhi where he went to supply the drug to his contact.
Arif, who hails from Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, was currently living in Khajoori Khas in east Delhi.
"Arif was arrested two times in 2004 and 2007 for the same offence," said Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch), Ashok Chand.
"He procured heroin from some drug traffickers of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh and sold it in Delhi," Chand said.
