One militant killed in Kupwara
Security forces shot dead a militant on Sunday in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district.
Police sources said the gunfire erupted when the militants fired at a police unit in the bypass area of Handwara town.
"One militant has been killed in this operation which is still going on," a police officer said.
