Joining the government's 'Give it Up' campaign, MIM leader and MP Asaduddin Owaisi has given up the LPG subsidy.
The Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen leader tweeted on Thursday that he has got a letter of appreciation from the local dealer of Indian Oil Corp for joining the 'Give it Up' movement by buying cylinders at market rate.
The Hyderabad MP also uploaded a picture of him receiving the letter of appreciation from the dealer.
In response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal, around 12.6 lakh consumers have given up their LPG subsidy across the country till July 22.
