Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has been reported again with a suspected illegal bowling action during the first cricket Test against Sri Lanka, which the visiting side won by 10 wickets here.

The match officials' report, which was sent to the Pakistan management, cited concerns about the legality of the 34-year-old's bowling action during the course of the match, according to a statement on the International Cricket Council's (ICC) website on Monday.

The match ended on Sunday with Pakistan winning by 10 wickets.

Hafeez was earlier suspended from bowling in November 2014. Following remedial work on his bowling action he was reassessed and permitted to resume bowling in April 2015.

Consequent to this report, he will now be required to undergo further tests within the next 14 days, and, during this period, Hafeez is permitted to continue bowling in international cricket till the results of the tests are known.

As this report will constitute the player's second report within a two year period, the first of which led to a suspension, should the second independent assessment also determine that he bowls with an illegal action, he will automatically not be permitted to bowl in international cricket for one year.
