Two murder convicts were hanged in Pakistan on Wednesday, media reported.
Ameer Hamza, who was executed in Balochistan's Machh jail, was sentenced to death in 2004 over killing a man in 1995. His mercy appeal was turned down by President Mamnoon Hussain on March 30, Dawn online reported.
Hamza is reportedly the first prisoner to be hanged in Balochistan after a period of seven years.
Sikander was hanged in Punjab province's Bahawalpur Central Jail. He was sentenced to death for killing a colleague in Rawalpindi in 2002.
Pakistan lifted its moratorium on the death penalty in all capital cases on March 10.
Initially executions were resumed for terrorism offences only in the wake of a Taliban massacre at an army-run school in Peshawar which claimed more than 150 lives, mostly school children, on December 16, 2014.
