A Pakistan national has been arrested by Colombo airport customs officials for possessing Indian Rs.1.5 million, media reported.
The man arrived from Karachi by Sri Lankan Airlines' flight UL184 at Katunayake International Airport here at 9.20 p.m. Wednesday, The Nation reported Thursday.
On a tip-off from the central intelligence agency of the country, officials searched him and found three parcels concealed on his body.
Customs department spokesperson Leslie Gamini said the department was conducting investigations into the seizure.
