Parliament to be prorogued, GST delayed because of Congres: Jaitley

The parliament will be prorogued, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said on Wednesday.

Jaitley said that it has been decided by the parliamentary committee to recommend to the president to prorogue the monsoon session.

He said that the monsoon session had been stormy due to the Congress since they had retained the right to "veto through disturbance. Jaitley said the GST bill had been delayed because of these tactics by the Congress.
