"The sky will remain partly cloudy, light rain may occur in some areas," an IMD official said.
Maximum temperature during the day is likely to be around 34 degrees Celsius.
Minimum temperature early Thursday was a notch above average at 23.2 degrees Celsius.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 69 percent.
Maximum temperature Wednesday was recorded 34.9 degrees Celsius, a notch above average for this time of the year.
