Rio de Janeiro, June 22 (IANS/EFE) Portuguese defender Pepe's red card during his side's 0-4 loss to Germany in the 2014 FIFA World Cup got more reactions online on social media network Twitter than Lionel Messi's goal against Bosnia.
More than 261,026 users reacted to Pepe's red card following his 'head butt' against Germany's Thomas Mueller, according to Twitter estimates, reports EFE.
It is third in the list that is headed by Brazilian Marcelo's own goal against Croatia in the opening game of the World Cup that ended in 3-1 win for the hosts.
On the other hand, the Brazil-Croatia match got more than 12.2 million tweets, followed by Mexico-Brazil match in the second round of the group stage.
