Peruvian international Jefferson Farfan will be leaving Bundesliga side Schalke FC to join Abu Dhabi-based club Al-Jazira, German media reports have said.
Farfan is expected to rejoin Schalke on July 23 upon returning from vacation after he participated with the Peruvian national team in the 2015 Copa America in Chile, and then he will complete his transfer to Al-Jazira, reports Efe.
Farfan has been playing with Schalke since 2008, while media reports on Wednesday suggested the German side is interested in signing Swiss international Xherdan Shaqiri from Italian club Inter Milan.
