Singer Pharrell Williams won the best pop solo performance for his single "Happy" at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.
The ceremony was held at Staples Centre here Sunday night.
The other songs nominated in the category were "All of me (Live)" by John Legend, "Chandelier" by Sia, "Stay with me" (Darkchild Version) by Sam Smith and "Shake it off" by Taylor Swift.
Williams was awarded the trophy by singers Tom Jones and Jessie J after they performed song "You've lost that loving feeling" as a tribute to composer Barry Mann and lyricist Cynthia Weil, who were honoured by trustee award.
Delighted by the win, Williams said he feels honoured to group with such talented people in the nominations and thanked everyone while accepting the award.
Williams also won award for the best music video for "Happy" and best urban contemporary album also went to Williams for his album "G I R L".
