Belgian golf player Thomas Pieters won the 96th edition of the KLM Open at the Kennemer Golf and Country Club in Zandvoort, the Netherlands, on Sunday.
The 23-year-old Pieters, who claimed his maiden European Tour title at the Czech Masters two weeks ago, started the day two strokes behind leaders Rafael Cabrera-Bello and Lee Slattery, reports Xinhua.
Pieters walked the final round in 65 strokes and ended on a total of 261 (-19).
"I am very happy," Pieters reacted. "This one is even cooler than the my first Tour victory."
Spain's Cabrera-Bello and England's Slattery had started the final round tied at -16. Slattery finally came short one stroke, with a final round of 68 and a final score of -18, equal with Spain's Eduardo de la Riva, who had a last round of 63.
Cabrera-Bello dropped to seventh place with a final round of 71 and a total of -15.
