New Delhi, April 22 (IANS) Delhi saw a pleasant opening to the week Monday as the maximum temperature dipped four notches below average at 33.2 degrees Celsius. Tuesday is expected to be hotter.
The minimum temperature settled two notches below average at 20.9 degrees, while the humidity wavered between a high of 71 percent and a low of 37 percent.
The met department has forecast a clear sky and higher temperatures Tuesday.
"The sky will be clear on Tuesday. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 35 and 21 degrees," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
