The week ended on a sunny, pleasant note in the capital Sunday with the maximum temperature settling at 32.7 degrees Celsius - average for this time of the year. The Met office has forecast similar weather Monday.
"The skies will continue to remain sunny. The mornings and evening will be pleasant with a slight nip in the air," said an official of the India Meteorological Department(IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures Monday are expected to hover around 32 degrees and 17 degrees Celsius respectively, added the official.
Sunday's minimum temperature was recorded at 17.6 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
Saturday's maximum temperature was recorded 34 degrees Celsius -- average for this season, while the minimum temperature settled a notch above average at 19.5 degrees Celsius.
