It was a pleasant Thursday in the capital unlike the past two hot days with the maximum temperature settling a notch above the season's average at 36 degrees Celsius, said Met office. It forecast a partly cloudy sky on Friday.
"Haze is very likely to occur in the morning while the sky would be partly cloudy on Friday," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 36 and 22 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Thursday's minimum temperature was recorded at 21.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average while the humidity ranged between 27 and 64 percent.
The maximum temperature on Wednesday settled at 36.9 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 23.5 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average.
