Albania's Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Sokol Dervishaj said Wednesday that Poland supports Albania EU integration and that efforts are being made to further enhance cooperation between Albania and Poland, Xinhua reported.
Dervishaj was speaking here at a joint press conference with Henryka Moscicka-Dendys, the visiting Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland and in charge of European policy, human rights and parliamentary affairs.
Dervishaj said that he discussed with the Polish diplomat the ways to improve bilateral relations between the two countries.
Moscicka-Dendys expressed her positive assessment of the reforms Albania has implemented, which she said would pave the way toward the EU.
Poland is ready to give maximum support through offering its relevant experience while aiming at making easier Albania's journey toward EU membership, she said.
