Police Thursday claimed to have busted an illegal arms selling racket in Odisha and arrested five people from Cuttack city in this connection.
Cuttack is about 25 km form state capital Bhubaneswar.
Those arrested had been procuring guns and explosives from Bihar and selling them in different parts of the state since the past several years.
"Police have seized two automatic guns, four rounds of live bullets and several country made bombs from them," Sanjeev Arora, deputy commissioner of police at Cuttack, told IANS.
"The accused are between the age group of 20-30 and belonged to different coastal districts of the state," he said.
