A junior officer of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) posted in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday shot and killed himself.
The police said, "Assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Attar Singh of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) deployed at the district police lines in Jammu city shot himself with his service rifle."
"An FIR has been registered and investigations are on," the police said.
