The Delhi Police is preparing a comprehensive report on the Trilokpuri communal clash.
"A factual report on Trilokpuri clash was submitted to the MHA Saturday. Now, we are on way to prepare a comprehensive report which will be submitted soon," sources in Delhi police said.
The MHA had asked Monday about the reasons for the clashes, the steps being taken to ease tensions and whether there was any conspiracy behind the incident.
The Delhi Police was also asked by the MHA to take all possible steps to contain the situation in Trilokpuri where violence erupted on the night of Diwali Oct 23.
Prohibitory orders under section 144 of CrPC (prohibiting unlawful assembly of people) are still in force in the area.
Delhi Police have so far arrested 44 people who were named in three separate first information reports while 14 have been detained for making hoax calls to the police.
