Polish national Bruno Muschalik has been missing from Himachal's Manali tourist resort since August 8, a day after he reached there, police said on Thursday.

He was staying in a guest house in Manali and was planning to go to Manikaran in the Parvati Valley, a police statement said.

Police teams as well as locals have been deployed to trace Muschalik.

From an inquiry, it has come to know that he stayed in Monalsu Guest House in Manali on August 7 and 8. After staying two days, he said he was going to Leh and left behind his luggage with a message that he would collect it after 10-15 days, said police. Since then, there has been no trace of him.
