Greeting Finland on its Independence Day, President Pranab Mukherjee on Monday called for enhanced engagements for further cementing of mutual ties between the two countries.
"Our two nations share warm and cordial relations," Mukherjee said in his message to his Finnish counterpart Sauli Niinistö.
He said the visit of Finland Prime Minister Juha Sipila for the 'Make in India' Week in Mumbai in February, 2015 contributed to the strengthening of economic cooperation between the two nations.
"It is my firm belief that through enhancing our mutual understanding and engagement, the bilateral ties between our countries will grow stronger in the years ahead for the benefit for our two peoples," added Mukherjee.
