President Pranab Mukherjee met Peter England Mr. India 2016 second runner-up Altamash Faraz here.
Faraz went to meet the President on Monday to seek his blessings after winning the national title. The model's family was also invited to attend the felicitation.
The model tweeted on Tuesday: "My dream came true. It is the proudest moment when the President of India calls to felicitate you for your achievements."
He also shared a photo in which he is seen in a polka-dotted angrakha bandhgala outfit by designer Sarab Khanijou along with Mukherjee.
Mukherjee asked about his journey of winning the prestigious title. They also talked about the importance of motivating and influencing the youth of the country to improve the society, read a statement.
