President Ram Nath Kovind expressed his anguish over the deaths in the Mumbai stampede on Friday.
"Anguished by the loss of lives in the stampede in Mumbai. Condolences to the bereaved families; prayers with injured," the President tweeted.
At least 22 commuters were killed in the stampede on a narrow railway footover bridge connecting the Parel-Elphinstone Road stations of Western Railway in Mumbai on Friday morning, officials said.
