President prorogues Lok Sabha
The Lok Sabha, which was adjourned sine die on January 8, was prorogued by President Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday.
"The Lok Sabha which commenced its sixteenth session on the 11th December, 2018 has been prorogued by the President on January 10," a Lok Sabha Secretariat press release said.
The winter session of Parliament began on December 11.
