"Pride And Prejudice And Zombies", a film which re-imagines the world of the famous Jane Austen novel "Pride and Prejudice" with a zombie-slaying twist, will be releasing in India on February 12.
The film based on Seth Grahame-Smith's popular parody on the novel is written and directed by Burr Steers.
The movie follows the chronicles of Elizabeth Bennet played by "Cindrella" fame actress Lily James.
She is shown as a feisty heroine and a master of martial arts and weaponry who falls in love with the Darcy, played by Sam Reilly.
Things get bloody and gory when Darcy turns out to be a zombie killer. As the zombie outbreak intensifies, they must swallow their pride and join forces on the blood-soaked battlefield.
With a combination of romance and action, James is all set to thrill the audience in a zombie slayer avatar. The film is being presented in India by PVR Pictures, read a statement.
Besides James and Riley, the film's cast includes the "American Hustle" fame star Jack Huston, Bella Heathcote, "Jupiter Ascending" star Douglas Booth, Matt Smith, and "Game of Thrones" actors Lena Headey and Charles Dance.
