Filmmaker Nandini Reddy, who was to start working on a Telugu project with actor Nithiin Reddy, has put it on hold.
"I was supposed to start a project with Nithiin. Everything was finalized and we were good to go but when the state (Andhra Pradesh) got bifurcated, I had to put my plans on hold. We are going through a flux and I want to wait for it to settle down," Nandini told IANS.
"Had we started then, we would have faced lot of tax issues following the state's bifurcation. I didn't want to take any chances," she said.
Meanwhile, Nandini is all set to make her Bollywood entry with the Hindi remake of her own film "Ala Modalaindi".
"The Hindi remake is on and a leading banner is producing the film. But I can't share more details with regards to it," she added.
