A property dealer was shot dead on Tuesday by four unidentified bike-borne assailants in west Delhi over a property dispute, police said.
Vijendra, 38, was riding a two-wheeler near his house when he was fatally shot around 10 a.m. in Uttam Nagar by his assailants riding two motorcycles, police said.
"The assailants first fired at his legs. As he ran to save himself, they chased him and fired six to seven rounds at him. They later fled the spot," a police officer said.
Vijendra was declared brought dead to a nearby hospital.
A native of Sonipat, he was living with his family at Mohan Garden in West Delhi, police said.
The police are examining closed-circuit television footage from the area.
