A pub bouncer was arrested here and four unlicensed pistols suspected to be used in the murder of a village headman and an attack on a police station chief in Ballabhgarh seized from his house, police said Thursday.
Umesh, 30, a resident of Pataudi town, was arrested Wednesday and four unlicensed pistols, along with cartridges, recovered, police said.
He was working as a bouncer in a pub in the DLF area, police said.
"The weapons were used in the murder of Bijender, the sarpanch of village Chaprola in Palwal district Oct 9, 2012," said Vivek Sharma, joint commissioner of police.
The four murder accused who gave him the weapons to hide are absconding, police said.
The four accused had also attacked the Ballabhgarh police station chief with these weapons in Pataudi when his team was chasing them after the murder, police said.
Umesh has been sent to judicial custody.
